Bea the Sheep has been our mascot for over 20 years and we figured it was time to knit her likeness. The Tearoom Doll series by Susan Hickson has great patterns for knitters looking to try making dolls and accessories. We knit Tearoom Lambs Method 1 which is worked in the round.

Bea the Sheep was knit with Berroco Lanas 9501 - Cream (MC), Drops Karisma 53 - Anthracite (CC1) and Drops Alpaca Boucle 100 - Off White (CC2).

We knit Bea four pieces of clothing. The dungarees are made with Filcolana Saga in 207 - Gasolin. The top-down dress is made with Filcolana Merci in 2010 - Strawberry Ice Cream. The seamless top is made with Sandnes Garn Tynn Peer Gynt in 3819 - Spicy Orange. The cardigan is made with Filcolana Saga in 311 - Tumeric. All buttons were purchased at Gala Fabrics.

Doll clothing requires barely any yarn and is a great way to use up scrap yarn. We can’t wait to see what cute fashions Bea wears in the coming years!
