Notes

“Torv” is Danish for “square,” which makes perfect sense, because, although this shawl is a rectangle, the accelerating grid pattern looks like squares receding into the distance, like a snow-covered patchwork landscape of farms.

Those of us who are excited by Scandinavian minimalism and Hygge (a Danish concept of finding happiness in cozy things, pronounced hooga) are naturally drawn to all things Woolfolk. This wrap typifies the stylish warmth and calming colour palette of a snowy day spent knitting by a fire with a cup of hot tea and no bothersome distractions. Come get cozy with the super-soft Woolfolk yarns!
