We love a lofty mohair shawl. What’s not to love about a cozy accessory that is light and airy with a subtle silky sheen? Wayworn is a beautiful finished object. The muted colours in our sample seem almost to glow.

Our sample used four balls of Sandnes Garn Silk Mohair: one in Natural and three in Dusty Light Green.

The pattern calls for three colours, but we chose to use only two. We did Section 3 of the pattern in Dusty Light Green, our colour B.

It is worth noting that we highly recommend using blocking wires with this piece. We had to block it out firmly and blocking wires allowed us to keep nice, crisp edges.
