So, so, so time-consuming. Those little “loop behind the back loop” stitches are killer. Almost had me in tears more than once. They really do make a nice looking stitch, but each one took about a minute and a half. Just to the point of where the bobby pins are holding the stars on took me about 20 hours.

• For aglets on shoestrings, I simply “wet” all around the ends of each shoestring with the Fray Check stuff and let it dry. It dries clear and hard, which makes it perfect and such a classy touch.
• Sprayed shoes with water, stuffed with plastic Walmart bags (1 ea) DON’T DO THIS (the blue dye from the words got into the sole!), and pulled and stretched into shape.

Not sure of the size of the tiny crochet hook. It’s one that came with a cap for highlighting hair.

I will never ever ever make these again. I truly do not know how so many people have made these without complaining, and how some people have made multiple pairs. They are like the little shoes from Hell for me. LOL

11/1/19 Alex gave the final quality control this morning and fixed a little glue spot. Used a bit of Fray Check to poke in some of the black yarn under the star that was sticking out.
