Alicia asked me to make the same beanie in this project in her size.

Since the yarn is much thinner than what was used in the pattern, the gauge was way off. I fixed it by adding another 8 rows to the band / brim and 8 stitches to the pattern rows. It was stressful not knowing if it would actually work out.

Brookie says the hat might actually be too big. I haven’t finished it off yet, so I may go back and take out the extra rounds I did to meet the measurements given for height.
