Using 2 colors and 2 strands held together for entire blanket creating an ombre effect like this:

• Section 3: 2 CB (9.5” tall at end)
• Section 4: 1 CA 1 CB
• Section 5: 2 CA
• Section 6: 1 CA 1 CB (19” tall at end)
• Section 7: 2 CB
• Section 8: skipped
• Section 9: 1 CA 1 CB
• Section 10: 2 CA

5/22/20: It’s slow going. Some of the stitches are a little more time-consuming than normal, plus I’m using 2 strands of tangley yarn that I keep having to stop and unknot. I’m determined to get this thing, done, though.

And I wish I’d used a larger hook. The fabric is a little too stiff. It might drape better as it gets longer (fingers crossed).

5/23/20: Still needs to be blocked, but as of now it’s about 32” tall and 30” wide.

6/1/20: Blocking made such a big difference in the shape and also the softness.
