I started this project by following the pattern as written, but decided that I wanted a more solid and larger base. Took me awhile to run the numbers and figure out the shape of the bottom, but I was pretty happy with how it turned out.

Except that the bag is too big now. I miscalculated how many stitches to start the project with. I’ll still keep it and maybe gift it to Tammy (since the first skein was yarn from her mom’s stash).

For my straps, I completed 24 rows following the pattern construction, then did 8 rows of dc to connect the two straps. I should have made the base (R1 of strap) over more stitches.
