I want to try this pattern to see how large the holes are on the bottom. If not too big, this method seems like it would be very easy to maintain the shape, vs the ones I’ve tried where I start with back and forth rows for the bottom.

I decided I do actually like this method for square-ish baskets. They take more attention than (i.e., not quite as mindless as) the round ones, but I do really like it. I’m considering adding this type of basket to my inventory, and this seems like a really good option.
