I used a 4mm hook with the #4 worsted weight yarn, and the 5.5mm hook with the #6 yarn.

With the larger one, I did YUYO to make the stitches tighter.

Measurements:
Red/White: 7.25” x 4.5” wide
Multicolored: 6” tall x 3” wide

Mine were heavily influenced (as in I completely copied) Debbie Griffiths’ Worry Warriors (debgriff57’s projects here).

Here’s what I did based on Debbie’s notes:
Row 1 - SC2, HDC3, SC2
Rows 2-9 - with C1 as written just more rows
Rows 10-21 - with C2 as written just more rows
Row 22 - Dec, SC2, HDC5, SC2, Dec

I even used her idea to use a safety eye for the nose. So clever! On both of them, I used 6mm safety eyes for the eyes and a 16mm eye for the noses.

The way she added hair was so cute, so I copied that, too.

I also copied her use of puffy paint for the mouths. I was so proud! And then while taking photos, I messed up the mouth on the red and white one. Such a bummer. But I did get photos before that happened.

And she also changed yarn on the border/join to match the colors of the different sections. Looks so neat and professional.
