I am using a 6mm hook vs 5.5mm in pattern.

I chained 98 (mult of 4+2), which is fewer than the pattern in order to get about 25.5”. Hope that’s not too long.

Controlling the color changes makes me happier than letting them flow. As it’s turning out, I’m changing after two rows of each color.

After Clue 3, it wasn’t measuring 25”. I stretched and pulled both ways then left it for a few minutes. I think it’s about 26”.

Decided to finish with Clue 4 a row early. The height of it seemed fine to me.
