Super simple pattern, I’ve made so many!
I found that I kept getting a little confused by the pattern counting the starting chain as a row, so I changed the row numbers to be more what I’m used to.
The single knot teether has 4 rows (not 5) of 28 dc. After the knot, it is 5 1/2” long. I didn’t measure the length before tying the first one as written, but I’m guessing it was around 7 1/2” long.
The double knot teether has 3 rows (not 4) of 35 dc. Before tying, it is 11” long x 1 3/4” tall. After tying it is 7 1/4” long.
I did really like the thinness of the first two toys (red/white ILTC) using the pattern without adjustments, but since my teething biscuits are double thick, I decided to try holding two stands together.
I made several and made adjustments after I finished each one.
Double knot variations:
1. Lt aqua & cream: With 2 stands and 5mm hook, I did 35 fdc to get 12” long. 3 rows total hdc. That was a bit long and narrow.
-
Green & cream: 2 strands/5mm hook, I did 32 fhdc to get 11” long, and 3 rows total hdc to get 1 1/2” tall.
-
Multi pnk/blue & cream: 2 strands, 5mm hook. I did 32 fhdc, then a row of dc, then a row of hdc to get 11” long and 1 3/4” tall.
-
color? Single strand/4.5mm hook. I did 40 fdc for 11” long and 3 rows total for 1 3/4” tall. 9” after knots.
Single knot variation:
Multi pnk/blue & cream: 2 strands, 5mm hook. I did 25 fdc, then two rows of hdc, then a final row of dc for 8 3/4” long and 2 1/4” wide before tying. 6” long after tying.

I’m going to add the printable I just made to these, the one that says Baby Toy.
