Because the yarn I’m using is a bit thicker than what the pattern recommends I’ve had to do a bit of maths.
The pattern says make jumper with 16” of positive ease, so I need mine to measure 55”. I’m getting 10.5 stitches to 4”, so therefore I need 144.4 stitches to achieve 55”. The closest size on the pattern with that stitch count is the smallest (140 stitches) so I’m following the stitch count for that one BUT the the size ‘L’ for any length measurements.
As I’m using 3 colours, I have divided the total number of rows for the body by 3 = each colour block will have 33 rows.
I’m hoping my calculations work out!!! So far, so good. This knits up incredibly fast, it’s brillaint!!!
