Got a drop spindle from my boyfriend and after some practice had the slightly wild idea to spin enough yarn for a sweater. So here we are now… decided on some multicolored natural BFL.

October 2021

Definitely don’t have enough yarn yet for the entire sweater, but decided to start knitting nonetheless. Let’s see how long this will take me.

Love the construction so far. Really fun and nothing like any other I have knitted before.

December 2022

This was in time out for a long time. Ran out of yarn and then out of fiber to spin more. So had to order more. New fiber has a slightly different grey tone so that I have a line on the body where I changed yarn. Will probably frog back a bit and try alternating skeins… will also allow me to lengthen to body a bit.
