Since I used fingering weight yarn, I worked the Waffle Pattern Repeat 4 times more (instead of 3, as indicated on page 4) = 24 sts added.
In Waffel pattern 2, I added 8 rows and in section 3 finally 4 rows. = again 24 sts added. In sum I have 48 sts more which matches with the mosaic charts repeat of 12. Means I ended with two diamonds on each side more.
