My friend and former colleague bought this as a kit with German instructions, translated by the yarnshop, with a different method for short rows.
As a beginner, she couldn’t assess the challenges involved in the techniques and wasn’t able to get started with it. I’m glad she left it to me to finish knitting it.

DS of short rows in black are difficult to see. But when familiar with German short rows you can feel them when it comes to knit the two loops as one.

k3tog with 2 open double stitches involved is a bit tricky. Tipp: slipp the five loops on your smallest needle size and work from this.
(The original uses wrap & turn, so you would have to handle with 3 loops only)
useful tip tip by Patchwool: use the wt-method for the first two turns only - stitch 18 and 17 and then German short rows.
That makes it easier with the K3tog later.

Since the German translation is error filled I asked the designer for help and she generously supported me with her original pattern, which is very clear and easy to understand.
