Great pattern. Only mod: lengthened the body and sleeves.

And since I was knitting for a young man, I worked the button band on the opposite side. So at wearers left side starting the first after the short rows, and then the last at the bottom of the hem. My Malin has 7 buttons

Gauge for Little Cross Pattern: 17 sts x 32 row

Added 15 cm in body length. Picked up 24 sts. More for the front button bands. Worked button holes with given space between.
Sleeves longer by decreasing after 6 knitted rounds until given st number for cuff
