Knit size 50.5”
Sleeve pickup-86 stitches so I followed the decreases for that size/amount.
Collar pickup--134 stitches, slightly less than what was called for but it worked well.
Band pickups--114 stitches, 4 more than called for in pattern.
I held the Holst Garn double with a single strand of the mohair to get gauge.

I followed the pattern as written for my size.
I knit the bands and collar using a US5.
I did go up to a US7 needle for the sleeves so they would be loose and dropped down to a US6 for the cuffs. (I learned my lesson on Thea’s Campari for loose sleeves, I didn’t go up a needle size and my sleeves weren’t as loose as the pattern called for. I knit tighter for smaller circumferences.)

8-5-25--Swatch is finished. I did have to double the Holst Supersoft but I do like the way it worked up. The top 3 repeats of cable pattern shows the correct gauge on US6 needles with 3 strands of yarn.

9-2-25--knit body to 13”, working my way up the right front.

9-6-25--Working my way up the back, one more repeat before shoulder/neckline shaping.

9-23-25-- working on the sleeves. Almost finished!

10-3-25--DONE!!! Can’t wait to wear this!
