This is the first out of the two pairs of Eclipse socks I have to make. About a month ago, a coworker told me to pick up the twilight series because it was “SOOOO goooood!”. I’ve been one of those skeptic people, I never wanted to watch the movie or never wanted to read the books because I thought sparkly vampires falling in love with teenagers sounded a bit on the stupid side.

THEN my mom, who was in the same camp I was in, started to read the series because she was asked to my one of my cousins and she started to say the same thing to me. Alright alright, I’ll read them. three weeks and many sleepless nights later, I wrapped up reading the entire series. I have officially been proven extremely wrong and have now become twilight obsessed.

So now I decided to make these socks for me and for the coworker who originally turned me onto the series.

Notes:
-Instead of using the duplicate stitch (which frankly scares me), I have decided to use the Festival Knitting method to add the ribbon and then to use duplicate stitching to do the “I <3 ______”

11/1/09 -- STILL trucking away on these. I took a loooong hiatus on my knitting, opting to crochet a blanket. The pair I’m working on is for my co-worker and I’m trying to get them done by the time New Moon hits the movie screen on November 19th.

All done with these!! The pictures of are the socks unblocked, and unfortunately i didnt snap any of them completed before I gave them to the recipient. She did say they fit perfectly and are soooo soft.
