I’m going to be a great Auntie somewhere around July 1, and this baby is going to have lots of auntie made presents. Seemed fitting to me that a baby item would be my New Year’s 2010 cast on.

2010/02/02 Finished the body last night, finally. Onto the sleeves tonight, hopefully will finish soon! This project was in time out for about 10 days or so, why do I screw up the most on the simple knits?

2010/02/06 Finished last night, and baby not due til July 1. As new parents don’t wish to find out gender ahead of time, this will now wait for buttons until after the baby is born.

UPDATED 2010/08/06 It’s a girl! Added purple girly buttons and also made little mary jane booties and a hat to accompany the sweater.
