2010/08/07 Just cast this on tonight and finished the first section. Really enjoying knitting with this handspun, and I think it is going to knit up into a lovely Citron. Couldn’t wait for daytime for it’s first photo shoot so please excuse the artificially lit shots.

2010/09/06 Just cast off! I forgot how the one section, when spinning, came out a bit differently, as you can see in the beginning part of the shawl. Not quite as obvious in real life as it appears in the photo though. Added two extra sections, as per Ulli’s instructions here.

Finally got around to blocking over a month after binding off, seems like I often procrastinate that part of the process. I didn’t block very aggressively, I threaded the straight edge onto blocking wires and then just laid out the rest of the shawl without stretching or pinning. I didn’t want to loose the rusching effect. Got rather carried away with photos, but I’m just so very pleased with this shawl!
