5 March: Challenging the Boyfriend Sweater curse!! Struggling to make gauge, getting the nicest drape with 5mm needles but my row count is way off at only 30 rows. Continuing with 4.5mm.

12 March: Curse is winning so far, have discovered that I have misremembered measurements and need to go up a size. Frogged and recast on for the 41 1/4 chest circumference, have also decided to go up to 5mm for a nicer drape and also since I’ve cast on for something smaller than his favourite jumper. Will this come back to haunt me?

22 September: The answer was yes, it then haunted me for 6 and a half months! But it is finished!!

Amazingly it’s done, all of the ends woven in and fits! Did so many things for the first time on this project, tubular cast on (amazing and needs to be done with all socks even though it is a faff), seaming a jumper together (never again), doubled over collar (which I had no idea how it was going to go but turned out very nicely), and all with a skein to spare.
