Could not decide on a pattern for the Knit British Nature’s Shades-a-long KAL so narrowed it down to three and let my partner choose. He chose this one which will at least allow for a lot of scope for using different natural shades in the yoke. It’s knit bottom up, so am starting with the sleeves and my main colour - some really soft, luscious grey Wensleydale from John Arbon. I’ve had this in my stash for a few years so am not 100 per cent sure, but I think it was a one-off. I have three skeins, so it should be fine for the body.

A lot of plain knitting to start but it will get exciting when I get to the yoke.
