I am taking a superwash sock club yarn that I wasn’t too fond of, paired with a cone of Jamieson’s of Shetland Spindrift, which is nice, but has a pink undertone that I find doesn’t go with a lot of other colours that I like to use. Marled together, however, they produce a really nice fabric, colours I would like to wear ( the purple has softened just that little bit) and I have got perfect gauge for another Doocot - this one I might make short sleeved.

A great way to use up ambivalent stash.
