I am stalling on my Icelandic intarsia sweater and there’s little chance of my finishing it in time for my summer adventures in Iceland, so casting on for this instead. I have lots of various earthy tones of laceweight in stash so it will be fun to marl them and use them up. Adding some mohair for the lace yoke.

Very clever pattern - in particular I like the placement of the back short rows where you divide for the arms - eliminates the gap you usually get at the armhole.

I had fun adding a little fair isle in the transition marls on the sleeves - the triangles mimic those on the lace yoke.

Only other modification was to make the sleeves a bit slimmer and omit the short rows.
