Trying a second hat in the yarn, but reversing the colours this time. Also putting in more stripes, but narrower.

All done. This beanie is a bit longer than the pattern. I knitted until it was 27cm before decreasing to make it slouchier.
At the medium size it is still a good fit for my head. (I am known to take a medium/large hat size)

It is a quick knit and would have been finished sooner if I hadn’t taken a few days off because the fluff from this yarn was getting to me.
I really do like the effect of the granite stitch. So simple, but so effective.
