Making this blanket using the leftover yarn from my Crazy Granny Stripe blanket. I’m probably going to have to pull more colors from my stash, but that’s okay, the stash needs a little busting.

This one will be donated to Crazy for Natalie, an organization that helps raise money for Cystic Fibrosis. I’ve worked with them in the past, and they’re really nice. I donated my big-ass Corner-to-Corner blanket to them last year.

I finished half of the squares I need. Now I have to go through all the boxes of yarn in the attic and find colors that I haven’t used yet for the rest of the squares.

All the squares are finished, and all the ends are woven in! Now to just sew them all together and add the border.

Squares are all sewn together, and the blanket’s been blocked. Once it’s done/dry I’ll add the border, and then it’ll be done!

The edging in the pattern wasn’t working for me. Somehow I ended up with way more stitches than the pattern called for, even though my squares were the right size. Whatever, no big deal. So I did a simple crab-stitch border and called it a day.
