Notes

Very easy to knit, well written pattern! I love this crescent shawl because it can be worn so many ways. It’s light and airy, yet warm.

Modifications: I worked 6 repeats of the lace chart rather than 7 because the shawl was as big as I wanted it to be after 6 repeats.

I worked 7 garter stitch ridges on the garter stitch border. I sized up to a US5 needle for binding off. I bound off using this loose bind off method: k2, slip the two sts back to the left needle, k2togtbl, continue. But I think a regular bind off would have been fine and might have looked a little bit neater.

The finished shawl weighed 152 grams, which means it used 704 yards/644 m of yarn.

Wingspan: about 78 inches/198 cm. Center depth: 22.5 inches/57 cm.
