12/24: DONE!

I found it hard to tell at a glance which is the left mitt and which is the right. To make it easier for the recipient, I added some pink thread on the inside of the right wrist.

Thumbs on fingerless mitts are always fiddly but these were possibly the most fiddly I’ve ever knit. Thankfully, nobody ever looks at them too closely. slightly_smiling_face

12/13: First mitt done! Saving thumb for last - I’ll do thumbs on both mitts at the same time. Love this pattern!

11/28: I’m on the thumb chart for the left mitt. This is one of the most clearly written patterns I have ever knit. And it has the MOST BEAUTIFUL CHARTS!

Modifications:
--I worked 6 welts instead of 7 on the cuff as I think that will be a good proportion for the person I am knitting these for.
--I’m using 2.25 needles instead of 2.50 for a slightly smaller fit, since the recipient has slender wrists and hands.
--Because I tend to bind off tightly, I went up to a 2.75 needle for the bind off.
