I bought this linen/bamboo on a very special trip to Paris in 2011. I thought to knit it for myself but think it perfect for my little munchkin (6 yr old grand daughter). It’s such a pretty little bolero and very easy to knit. Lovely!
I ran out though, and, perfect though a trip to Paris would be… I ended up crocheting around the edges, rather than knitting the lace.
I’ve used one of my own Grandma’s buttons. Well and truly vintage. Ha, that’s Saide’s great great grandma.
Thought I’d throw in a picture of the girl herself, convinced (by her brother) to try a Pee Wee Herman trick with the sticky tape.
