Notes

I have to do these. After the Miaow Mitts, there’s no stopping it.
The main colour is a very old boucle, grey with a lovely apple green slub. I have such a little amount of it, it’s good to find a reason to cherish it (even if it hurts your hands to knit). In fact I ran out, 3 rows off finished.
The orange of the robin’s breast is my tried and true favourite orange in all the world. I’ve used it on everything… cuffs for my jacket… blips for my fairisle. I still have some left too, for future blinging. It’s so bright it can only be used sparingly, and you can’t get it anymore, which is keeps it special.
I went over the darling robin’s tummy with a pretty, multi-coloured hand embroidery wool, since my contrast didn’t look so good.
I am ridiculously happy about these!

P.S. I just made my grand-daughter a pair… she’s almost 6.
