After nearly a two year hiatus, it’s done! And SO loves it! I am so grateful to be done with this incredible Afghan and I can’t wait to move onto new projects.

I’ve added nearly two rows to this blanket this weekend. Ian is really, really happy to see me working on his blankie again and to be frank, I’ll be happy when this whole project is over.

I finally added a recent photograph of SO’s afghan. It’s about 50-60 rounds at the moment and coming together slowly but surely. I’m thinking that this piece will end up being around 120 rounds, but that’s tentative based on what size it ends up being at that point.

I have pulled out this entire afghan AGAIN after realizing that it will just be too heavy and hot for my guy to ever use. He really likes my giant granny square projects, though, and has requested that I make him one of those instead. It makes my life SO MUCH easier. Even though I’ll be restarting again, I know that this project will come together in less than a year. Color Scheme: 2 Grey, 3 Black, 2 Lt Blue, 3 Black, Repeat.

Oh, I have scrapped this project and restarted SO MANY times now. Hopefully this is the last time. I’m getting sick of disliking the results.
