I used this pattern previously, true to size, twice, and it turned out well. Once I followed the patter, the other I knitted up in garter stitch. I liked the way the garter stitch felted, so I went with that this time. I had a skein and a half of the Lamb’s Pride and the eyelash worked really well with it, so I decided to alter the pattern to make it a little bit bigger, as well.

I didn’t follow any of the increases, once I joined in the round I just knit straight up.

I threaded a shoelace through the bag before felting so the holes would stay open for the drawstring, and knitted up an i-cord to go with it.
