Hoping that using needles sized bigger will make this hat large enough to felt down to size.

Started with 16” size 8 needles, switched to magic loop on a size 9. The hat came out wonderfully with the texture, which unfortunately was lost a little bit when it felted. It does seem to be a good size now.
