“Sky Scarf” documents the weather outside your window. Each day you will knit a stripe in colors that match the sky. It will be lovely to see our different climates create different scarves!

January 2012
I had some Rowan Felted Tweed in a lovely mid blue exactly the colour of a bright blue sky, it even has tiny wisps of white for clouds, and I also had some left over greeny grey like the colour of thunderclouds. I ordered a couple more colours: a softer blue and a pale blue grey.

February
I think I’ll be needing a paler grey for overcast days in winter. “Grey mist” would have been perfect but it’s sadly discontinued, so I’ve ordered a skein of “Clay” instead.

December
Finished. I ended up using almost exactly 2 skeins each of Maritime, Duck Egg and Scree, a skein of Clay and a little dark grey Dragon.
