Notes

1/12/13 The only picture I have right now is a blurry self portrait taken before I blocked the cardigan. It’s better than nothing! I hope to get better pictures posted soon.
Before blocking, the cardigan felt extra baggy in the back. That might have had something to do with the yarn I chose.
The buttons were also purchased at Twisted.
I love this sweater, and I bought Brown Sheep in maroon to make another one in a different color. As hoped, this cardigan has expanded my wardrobe options, even in winter! (Portland winters aren’t cold, either.)

Portland summers are not hot. I only have heavy cardigans or lightweight cardigans in black and brown. I want a colorful cardigan so that I can actually wear my summer dresses in the summer, even if it’s only 75 degrees.

It took me a very long time to unwind the yarn (are Brown Sheep skeins different from others? am I crazy?) and then to swatch. I’m getting the gauge on size 6 needles, not 8, which concerns me. The Brown Sheep yarn does separate, as others have noted, but I’m okay with that. I have cast on. More later!
