Yarns are from a large assortment from Christmas several years ago… were just waiting for a fun project! Also though I’d have enough of the purple to finish, but will be finishing the last 1/3 with the blue.

Also greatly enjoying using two circulars instead of dpns! Fewer worries of dropped stitches.

The pattern seems to be a bit needlessly specific, in an attempt not to build a pattern of added/reduced stitches. Would be fun with a rounded-star pattern on top.

[Edit : I ended up knitting this hat four or five times before I found something I liked. Finally finished it, but it looks nothing like any pattern I looked at. Still, though, it’s really cute.]
