These gloves are an international adventure - I couldn’t find a copy of the pattern easily in the UK, but a library local to a US friend had it. She was happy to go on a Special Library Mission, and sent a photo of the chart.

The main yarn was purchased in Manchester when a different US friend came to visit, who is also a knitter. Also a beer brewer/drinker - we’d gone to drink our way through Manchester, and happened on the Countess’s shop!

I initially did the snowflake in Lorna’s Laces Douglas Fir, but it matched too much so I frogged to the cuff (with no lifeline wheeeee) and started them again. Luckily they’re a quick knit!
