6/2: fancy new cast on was a no-go! Regular long tail was great. 68g of wisteria left after the ruffle was done.

6/1: casting on the kerchief size! I figured with such fun colors, smaller may be better. Double-Needle cast on.

5/22: I swatched and blocked tonight- that was so quick and fun! Swatch measures 3.5’ wide x 4.75” long and about 3.25’ x 3.5’ without the pleated section so I’m going up a needle size. I’m really happy with my yarn and beads, but I’ll use the Wisteria for the edge and Great Grape for the main background.

…Dang, that swatch went so fast. Now for something to distract myself for the next 8 days…

I’m going to use Wisteria for the background, Edison Bulb for the CC, and Great Grape for the braiding to add a little extra “pop.”

Camp Loopy 2015: June project!
must be 400 yards or more, started June 1st and completed by the 30th, and inspired by something I’d like to see on a Safari. I’d love to see the Purple Crested Turaco and the Gray Crowned Crane :)
