New Year weave!

Warp wound and beamed 12/29/18. Threaded 12/30. Sleyed, lashed and started sampling 1/1/19!

5-yd warp, 480 ends of 16/2 cotton (natural) warp and tabby. 8/2 pattern weft. 16” in 10dpi reed.
Goal is a 60” table runner and shorter runner/square for sampling.
1.5” plain weave for hems.

Dusty Blue and Rust for pattern wefts.
Large runner under tension 73” x 16” in reed
Off the loom 1/12/19
Hemmed, washed, pressed 1/15/19

Wet finished after hemming:
Long runner: 59” x 13.75” (goal was 60” -- not bad!)
Rust short runner: 27” x 13.75”
Square-ish sample: 16.25” x 13.75”

Not squared, but perfectly happy with the result.
I’ve got tension issues though -- a ripple on either side.

NB: The hems tended to go a bit wide and needed to be folded at the edges -- next time try using sewing thread for hems.
