Notes

YAY! The sweater has finally been given to mom, and she loves it! It fits perfectly, and she loves it! Woohoo!

Weaving in is for people who aren’t lazy. :) i rediscovered my felting needles and thought, “Hey, why can’t i felt the ends together now?” So i did! All the ends in the sleeves were needle felted together.

1-11-09
Done with the knitting! Now i have until April to do the finishing and weave in a metric butt-load of ends inside the sleeves. headdesk Stupid me, i never considered split-splicing as i went on the sleeves…

Notes:

i shortened the sleeves a bit to better fit my mom - she’s a shorter lady and the sleeves as written would have hung way off her arms. Because of this i used a little less yarn than what was called for in the pattern.

The “Aurebeta” color (dark purple) used EXACTLY one skein of yarn. As in, i have a two-inch tail to weave in and that is literally it. 0_0
