I was waffling over whether to do the new or old version of the pattern, because i liked the new center star and the old blocky zigzag above the gate address. But then i realized that i liked the blocky bit because it reminded me of the Ancient text - and so i decided to make this my own!

I found an Ancient alphabet and translated “Chevron Seven Locked Kawoosh” into a chart to knit in above the gate addresses. :)
