28/03/09 - all finished, blocked ends darned in and about 100 pictures taken. I’ve never used a quality yarn for lace before (I’m pretty new) and I’ll never go back to acrylics for this kind of project. The Zephyr yarn is just gorgeous post blocking. I almost want to keep this for myself! :)

26/03/09 - What a panic last night: I ran out of yarn half way through the last point on the border! I luckily found the gauge swatch and frogged it to use the yarn. I have literally 6 inches or yarn left.

21/1/09 - I’ve got 3 months to go before my friend is due so I threaded it onto a wire to see how big it is. Only 31” which is less than I was hoping :( I want to do a fringe and cast it off soon so that I can do some other baby things. Will ponder tonight and decide whether to keep knitting the pattern on change it a bit.
