the only reason I used so much wool was because it had so many breaks in it with colours being cut short I really had to use part of this ball and part of that ball. This wool split a lot also throughout the whole blanket. I bought 7 balls and surprise a totally different purple popped up in 2 of the balls had to work that in. All balls were the same dye lot so beats me.
