Notes

I’ve knit this one before & I forgot that I don’t like how the m1 increases look on a knit this loose. Still, I didn’t “not like” it enough to rip it & redo it when I remembered. Otherwise, it’s coming along nicely. I’m excited to wear it.

I don’t really like the way the increase row looks, maybe it will improve after some wear. I think I’ll add pockets. It’s soft & squishy & warm, & I love it a lot.

I decided that I will love it more if I make the necessary improvements. So, I have ripped back to a row before the increases and I’m knitting it straight without any shaping. I will finish with a bobble stitch bind off & I’m adding pockets.

Dec. 19th: I decided to go with a cabled edge bind off (using US size 15 needles), which was really difficult to figure out but once I did it was super easy. It looks amazing.

I still need to knit the pockets & the button bands (the pattern does not call for this but I think it looks better with).

This has been a really fun knit, ending up as a design all my own & inspiring a few more cardigan designs that I can’t wait to knit!
