I used a double seed stitch as the filler for lots of texture rather than the stockinette stitch & used a 1x1 ribbing. Stitch counts are the same as pattern specs.

I blocked the piece to 12” x 6” then hand sewed on a felt lining for added insulation. Sewing on the lining makes the finished piece non-stretchy, so I needed something stretchy for the loops. Elastic hair ties fit the bill.
