I tried making this little cardi similar to the adult Shalom cardigan. I liked the ribbing on top and being new to knitting, I wanted to challenge myself a wee bit just to see if I could do it.

Ribbing is k1, p2

I used Jeny’s surprisingly stretchy bind off technique at the bottom. This sort of made it flare out a bit. I would use a needle or two size down to avoid this next time around.

This little cardi is not perfect, but I’m happy with the way it turned out.
