I knit this up as a gift for Andy Poon, who has been busy art directing Slugterra (on Disney XD)
As with all my projects, I proudly handed him the cute little Burpy, and he said “Wouldn’t it be cool if it had a case shaped like the slug canister?”
Yes, yes it would. So the canister was added, as when Andy gives me an idea, it’s usually a good one.
Burpy’s new home is an honored place on Andy’s desk at Nerd Corps.

Both Burpy and canister are knit in the round on DPNs. The cansiter uses stranded/fair isle colourwork, but Burpy’s flames are done in duplicate stitch.
If there is enough interest I may write out a pattern. (free of course)
