I started this in November of last year after giving up on the quality of my knitting on the Onerva shawl. The patterning here, hides my craptastic knitting skilz.

I worked on this a lot through November and early December and did a big push to get it going in January. Then it sat again for a couple of months till this last week (April 28th). I am working on this till it is done. REEEEAlly.

As of today, April 30th, I have only 14 rows to go plus the outer lace edging. I anticipate the edging will feel like speedy progress in comparison to these long long rows. (Currently it is taking me 40 minutes to do a pattern row plus a plain knit row. Not a speedy knitter.)

I absolutely love this pattern out of what is fast becoming a favourite lace/shawl book.

Just finished the first side of the outer lace edging. Wow. I mean i know that the sides will be long. They are more than 200 stitches, but Wow. Just Wow.

At May 23rd, done the second side.

Hmm that break went longer than I planned. 30th of June - working on the 3rd side. Finished third and moving on to the last side! jul 7.

It is just after 3 pm and the shawl is done and is having a well deserved bath. There should be a bigger happy sign to mark this project with.

It is a massive 4 x 4 feet unvblocked. I will block it yet before dinner.
