Notes

Larger one: cast on 54 stitches, then knit 10 rows. After that joined in the round. Knit 6, P 3 until 7.5 inches long. Switched to green, then knit straight for 4 rows. Then began decreases as follows:
K2tog, K1* repeat around
Knit
K2tog, K1* repeat around
Knit
K2tog, K1* repeat around

Threaded green yarn through live remaining stitches and pulled tight. Made a pompom.

Smaller one: cast on 48 stitches and then knit 10 rowx. After that joined in the round. Knit straight for 7 inches.
Switched to green and knit 4 rows before beginning the same decreases as above.
