Notes

Hook is the G/6, 4mm from the Leisure Arts Knook set, which I got last summer. I’d only played with about a half dozen rows at that time, but wanted to include one of these dishcloths with my thank you to my friend Melody who knows a bit about both crochet and knitting and would get a kick out of a dishcloth knitted with a crochet hook.

The blue is my first, done according to the instructions in the set. Don’t much like the hook insertion. Then came across OffTheHookArt’s blog post talking about a different insertion, wrap method and like it very much. The yellow cloth was made using this method. It’s very much like working tunisian, my fingers like it much better and I’m as fast working it as tunisian.

The yellow one will go to Melody and the blue will stay home with me. The last photo is the whole group that will go to Melody.

Now to practice insertion and wrap methods for ssk and k2tog so I can do either Winter Flame or Falling Water. Already have the yarn.
